One of the founders and head coaches at CF3P. He began training and coaching in August 2008 with his wife out of the garage in Ft. Bragg NC, his first duty station. He got his start in fitness growing up in Gastonia NC playing and training for various sports. His skills as a coach come from years spent as an experienced leader in Special Operations and his desire to grown and continuously through his life. He trains/coaches individuals and groups of all ages, fitness levels and athletic conditioning. His workouts are the most effective and efficient you’ll find anywhere.
In the fall of 1997, my senior year of high school I decided to join the Army National Guard. After a few years working as an electrician I decided to join the military full time. This was just before the events of September 11th 2001. During my last three combat deployments to Afghanistan with 7th Special Forces Group, I began utilizing CrossFit training to increase the functional fitness of both myself and my team. The unparalleled level of mental toughness and functional fitness that CrossFit propagates and nourishes was a perfect fit for our needs as Special Operations Soldiers. In 2010 we moved to Pace, at that time I was went back to conventional working out; back and bis, chest and tris. My wife and I just were not getting what we needed from our fitness programs and decided to take up Crossfit again. In 2012 Pace did not have a facility that provided Crossfit training. It was shortly thereafter we opened CF3P and made the transition to the well developed constantly varied athletic challenge of CrossFit as a SPORT. I quickly exceeded the highest level of fitness I had EVER achieved while in the military. Moreover, I was inspired by the overachievement, people beating the odds, and the physical and mental transformation I was witnessing in our clients right in front of my eyes, on a daily basis. Our clients are not professional athletes or Special Ops soldiers. They are normal people. They simply trusted us with their fitness, and they were not disappointed.
My Mission is simple: Build my business around teaching and sharing the CrossFit experience I have come to love and around the same core values of Honor, Integrity, and Pursuit of Excellence that were deeply instilled within me from Special Operations, in order to create and sustain a thriving CrossFit Community and raise my two beautiful kids in the community of Pace.

I’ve been an athlete all my life. I love finding new ways to challenge myself physically or mentally. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2008, by my husband Joey. Before that, we were doing the basic back and bi’s/chest and tris routine. My first wod was thrilling! I knew Joey was doing the same work out as me and to see the differences in our physical abilities was so humbling but exciting at the same time! It made me want to get better! He is an elite soldier and I wanted to be able to keep up with him. I’m proud to say that eight years later, I can give him a run for his money! This is what I love about CrossFit, the group atmosphere is unlike no other! Your peers unknowingly push you to be better. CrossFit is always changing and there is no limit on how far you can go. There’s always a new goal that I want to reach. I also want the same for all of my members that I work with.
My goal as a coach is to see you succeed and help you reach all of your goals! There is nothing more gratifying than seeing my members beaming with pride when they accomplish goals they’ve been working towards.
You can find me on any given day, training or coaching. My biggest passion in the gym is coaching our youth. I am the head Coach of our
Patriot Kids class and Asst. Coach to our Youth Barbell team. When I’m not in the gym, I am also a mother of two adorable humans and two massive dogs.

My name is Zac and I’ve been an athlete since a young age. I began playing soccer when I was six, which turned into playing soccer and lacrosse once I entered high school. During my junior and senior year, I was All Conference and All State in lacrosse, and one of the three captains. I was offered a scholarship to St. Andrews Presbyterian College in NC, a top 10, division 2 college for lacrosse; however, after my freshman year, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an 0331 Machine Gunner. During my time in, I served with 2nd Platoon, Weapons Company under the 1st Battalion 6th Marine Regiment. I have been deployed to Afghanistan twice, and received a combat meritorious promotion, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Valor, as well as two Purple Heart Medals for wounds sustained during my deployments.
At the end of my enlistment, I studied for and received my ISSA Personal Trainer Certification. Once I was honorably discharged, I moved to Pensacola to attend the University of West Florida. I started coaching Crossfit, and there fell in love with Olympic Weightlifting. I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Community Health Promotion. My wife, Lauren, and I also recently became parents to a wonderful little boy this year.

I started doing CrossFit in June of 2015 with a gentle nudge from my husband. I have been hooked ever since. It has been a total mind and body transformation. As a mom I want to show my daughter women can be strong and healthy. I am a firm believer that anyone can do CrossFit. If you put in the effort results will follow. It is truly amazing what we are capable of if only we try. I look forward to encouraging others in their fitness journey for many more years to come.

My name is Nate and I’ve been with CF3P since 2013. I started Crossfit to help improve my performance at work, 4 years later, it has completely changed my life. I have seen Crossfit change so many lives while at CF3P it is amazing. I love to see people achieve their goals, master new movements, and complete things that they had no idea they we capable of. That is what Crossfit does, it opens new doors, new adventures, and new challenges and as a coach, I get to join our clients in their journeys. I love it.

I started my CrossFit journey in the summer of 2015. Only a couple months after starting CrossFit I competed in my first competition in the Pensacola Beach Brawl, then went on to get my Level 1. I wasn’t much into sports growing up but became very familiar with the gym and weight lifting as I got older and was working towards my BA. When I discovered CrossFit, and eventually tried a workout, I was immediately hooked. CrossFit allows you to mentally and physically challenge yourself while having the support of such a great CrossFit community. We strive to help each other better ourselves! I have never found so much joy and pleasure in helping others as I have experienced as a Level 1 Coach. It is truly my passion and I am continuously more eager every day to obtain as much knowledge and training as I possibly can in order to evolve into a better coach so that I can help my athletes reach their own goals and transformations!
